Brush Regularly
The longer that food, beverages, and plaque sits on your teeth , the more likely they are going to stain your perfectly white teeth. To help keep your teeth looking whiter for longer, make sure that you are brushing them at least twice a day (preferably more) with an over-the-counter whitening toothpaste.
Do Touch Ups
When you leave our office, we will send you home with everything that you need to do touch-ups whenever you think that you need one. So, if you start to notice that your smile is looking a little bit dingy, then you can use some of the whitening gel and trays that we send you home with and they will help brighten up your smile right away. Do your touch up for about 3 days, and don’t forget to eliminate coffee, tea and red wine while doing it.
Watch What You Drink
You should watch what food you eat, but most importantly, make sure to watch what beverages you drink. For instance, beverages like red wine and coffee are known to stain teeth which can leave you with a smile that looks a little less than white.
Having a white smile that lasts doesn’t have to be a lot of work. By using these three simple tips in this article, you can hopefully help your smile last for longer.
