Why Relaxing Before Your Dental Exam is Important
- Posted on: Feb 15 2019
Here at our office, we understand that not everyone is thrilled to have to come and see the dentist. Even though Dr. Lenny Slepchik is always gentle with patients, he is still a dentist that has to take a closer look into your mouth and teeth. To make sure that you stay calm and relaxed before your dental appointment, we have created a relaxation menu at our office for you to quite literally put your feet up and take a load off before you are seen by Dr. Slepchik.
What’s more relaxing than having your back massaged? We can’t think of anything ,which is why we have a massager available in our waiting room that will give you a gentle and soothing back massage before you are seen for treatment.
In addition to getting a back massage while you wait, we also offer a paraffin wax treatment so that you can give your hand a little bit of relaxation before you are seen. With Canada’s frigid temperatures, your hands may be even drier than normal especially during the winter months. With paraffin wax, you can get almost instantly smoother and more moisturized hands so that you can feel more comfortable. If you’ve never tried a paraffin wax hand treatment, just ask for it when you come to see us.
Nothing is worse than coming to the dentist and feeling nervous about it the entire time or before you even arrive here. Here at our office, we strive to make your experience as pain free and enjoyable as possible. Please read our Relaxation Menu and see if anything appeals to you to try during your visit with us. If you’re struggling with dental anxiety, contact our office before you come in so that we can make the proper arrangements to ensure that you feel calm and relaxed. We are very equipped to handle your fear; be sure to mention it in your online contact form, or during your phone call. Let us have the pleasure of helping you ! You might be pleasantly surprised.
