Dental Tourism

Our office is centrally located in the Montreal downtown core. We are next door to the Queen Elizabeth Hotel as well as a short distance from many hotels including The Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Marriot, Wyndham and many more. The office connects to the Gare Central which is the Montreal train station.  Both the Green and Orange Metro lines can easily bring you here. There are many buses that are a quick step away from our doors.

You will be warmly welcomed by our Dental Concierges who will answer your questions, facilitate the communication with your insurance company and ease any concerns you may have. The exceptional level of service will continue to throughout the entire office. Dr. Slepchik is looking forward to working with you to give you your smile of your dreams. He will answer all your questions and show you what is possible.  You need to discuss with him what you are interested in, what you wish to change, what are your concerns, possible fears, etc.  This type of treatment is always a collaboration between you and Dr. Slepchik. Good communication is essential to do an esthetic treatment, as he needs to know what you are hoping to achieve as a result.  We always recommend starting with a cleaning and examination appointment which gives him the information he needs to plan your specific treatment.  Any esthetic treatment must have a healthy foundation.  You can give us a call at 514-875-7971 or send an email to reception@smilesbydrslepchik.com at your convenience to get started.  We look forward to meeting you soon.

What Is Dental Tourism?

Dental tourism is when a patient in need of dental care travels to a non-local dental office for treatment.  The main reason for this is to achieve high-quality dental care for less cost.

In addition, dental tourism can also include an adventure, as many frequent travelers combine their vacation travel with finding a dentist in that area to take care of their dental needs.

Why Would I Visit Dr. Slepchik For Dental Care If I Do Not Live In Montreal?

Usually, when people think of dental tourism, they consider faraway places with low costs. However, there is one reason that is more important when it comes to addressing cosmetic or oral health issues; your smile ! Early in his career, Dr. Slepchik determined that the ongoing pursuit of knowledge as well as excellence in continuing education were essential to his work . In addition to joining the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, he has also completed courses offered through the Dawson Academy. Finally, when you visit our friendly office in downtown Montréal ,you're surrounded by professionals who also participate in ongoing training through online courses and in office guest visits.

Dental tourism isn't only about costs; it's all about your smile, your long-term results, respecting and listening to your wishes and your overall oral health.

What Dental Technologies Make Our Office Different?

Just as Dr. Slepchik is dedicated to ongoing education for himself and his staff, he also continues to explore and use technologies that elevate your care. Dentistry has advanced by leaps and bounds as new technologies evolve. To take full advantage of these, we've updated the equipment in each operatory, from the chairs to the newest LED lighting. The latter may sound insignificant ; however, the lighting we've selected is bright enough to facilitate comprehensive visual exams and restorative and cosmetic techniques without being too hot. The lighting that we use also supports the best use of cosmetic dental materials, preventing them from setting too quickly and allowing Dr. Slepchik to make any adjustments.

Our office is equipped with digital x-ray technology, decreasing radiation exposure by 80 percent compared to traditional x-rays. Part of this imaging technology is the ability to capture real-time images of the inside of your mouth using the intra-oral camera. These images are transferred to a screen in your room, where we can magnify them for the greatest degree of accuracy. Digital photos have also replaced the traditional method of taking impressions. Not only is this more comfortable for you , but it's also more precise in terms of visualization and model-building. The result is a crown, bridge, or other restoration that is perfectly modeled after your natural tooth structure.

In addition to wanting the most precise and advanced pieces of equipment, we're also committed to patient comfort. Our digital x-rays and use of an intra-oral camera help us achieve this during basic preventive services. The use of high-speed electric instruments and the Dental Vibe make tooth repairs and cosmetic treatments more comfortable as well, giving Dr. Slepchik the ability to freeze only the teeth he's treating, not the whole side of your mouth and lips.

Your oral health, beautiful smile, and positive experience matter to all of us ! From wherever you visit, feel confident that we'll look after you as we would our own families.
