Veneers: A Canvas for Beautiful Smiles
These thin, custom-made shells, made from porcelain, are designed to cover the front surface of teeth. They’re an artistic tool for addressing several aesthetic concerns of patients, from discolouration to misalignment to gaps between the front teeth.
Moreover, veneers offer incredible durability. With proper care and maintenance, they can last anywhere from 15-20 years or longer. In this collaborative process, we work closely with our patients. We need to know what you are interested in and what bothers you about your smile.
Together we will select your preferred shape, shade, and translucency of the veneers, insuring you are happy with the final result.
Crowns: A New Source of Strength
Dental crown services offer another solution that’s both aesthetic and necessary.
Dental crowns are placed over damaged, weakened, or severely decayed teeth.
The art comes in as Dr. Slepchik designs his crowns to integrate seamlessly with the shape, size, and colour of your other teeth. This not only restores functionality (being able to eat) but also results in a healthier smile.
Chipped Teeth: An Artistic Restoration
Dentists can restore your damaged teeth.
When your teeth become chipped or cracked (from sports, an accident, or biting a particularly hard candy) there are a variety of techniques available which will restore your smile. Sometimes we recommend veneers, but other times we use a technique called dental bonding.
This careful process involves applying a tooth-coloured composite resin to the chipped area; he then sculpts it to match the natural tooth shape, and then bonds it in place.
